A: This will depend on the nature of your injury, and your individual needs. This will be discussed during your initial appointment as there are many different factors to take into account. Obviously, the aim is to get you back to full fitness as soon as possible.
A: Just yourself! However, if you have any medical documentation such as scan and/or x-ray reports, which may be relevant to your injury/condition, then please feel free to bring these with you, although it is not essential.
A: Something loose, and comfortable is recommended. A pair of shorts is always useful for assessment purposes.
A: Yes, of course, if you feel or have the need to have someone with you, that is fine. Children under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by an appropriate adult.
A: Yes – both debit and credit cards are accepted. If you book online, you will be charged in advance at the time of booking.
A: There is no direct parking at The Osteopathic Consultancy. For appointments less than 60 minutes, it is possible to park for free at The St Augustine’s Gate Shopping Centre, of which the entrance can be found on Waterloo Road, and is directly opposite the clinic. You must ensure you park in spaces marked for shoppers, and leave within 60 minutes of entering.
For appointments of 60 minutes or longer, you will need to utilise the 2-hour free parking bays located on a few of the roads within a short walk of the clinic. These include Sussex Street, Esdelle Street, Buxton Road, Wingfield Road, Starling Road, Oak Street and St Martins Road. There is also the pay & display car park at the back of Anglia Square too.
A: 24-hours notification is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to do so, will result in a charge of the full appointment fee.
